176 According to Peter Landry, there were two Pierre Simon Landrys who married a Charlotte Boudreau. (www.bluepete.com/Genealogy/LandryCB.htm) Therefore it sometimes was difficult to know which was which in the records. It appeared to me that one lived primarily in Arichat and the other one lived primarily in D'Escousse - particularly after about 1830. This one lived in Arichat. He was very large leading to his nickname to distinguish him from another Simon Landry who also married a Charlotte Boudrot.
